The Ultimate TRICK to Internet Marketing
When you get into internet marketing, other marketers confuse you by telling you that you need to follow some complicated algorithms to trick Google and other search engines into liking you. I fell for this time and time again until one day, when I was reading a document written by one of my favorite (read the only one I’ve easily made money with) guys on the Warrior Forum.
I already knew that ways to get “link love” for higher rankings was to post on sites like Blogger or Squidoo in addition to forums, blogs and other sites. But something about the way he worded this document resonated with me and made be start actually thinking for myself instead of following someone else’s plan.
You see, the main thing that people never tell you about IM is that you are ALWAYS piggybacking on the success of someone else. Most IMers are a bit ADD when it comes to their online endeavors. Grabbing at straws, mixing up techniques when trying to get their offers recognized, but really all you need to do is find out who is already getting noticed by search engines or their followers and attach your site to theirs.
So for example, let’s say you see a YouTube video about something related to your niche. All you have to do is post a meaningful and polite comment below along with a link back to your site or offer. If the person who made the video doesn’t have a link in their description, you can even contact them and ask to pay them to put your link there! How easy is that? You have a popular video endorsing you. Pretty cool, huh?
Think of how many other ways you can do this. Instead of sweating away at building a Squidoo lens, target the one that already is popular and would love to see your comments. Always be polite when you leave comments because the lens owner can delete you if you’re a schmuck.
Put a book on Amazon? Why not visit a popular book and say that that book is great, but another great book is…. YOUR BOOK!
If you haven’t gotten the idea of what I’m saying here by now, then I’m not sure what to say. In any case, start putting these techniques into practice now, and watch your visitors grow daily!
Amazon Publishing: How to Publish to Kindle
In my last post, I mentioned how I have just published my new book on Amazon’s Kindle platform. Kindle is quickly becoming one of my favorite ways to make money online.
Think about it. You create content once and you make money for months or even years. This is only going to get better as reading with digital readers is gaining popularity daily. In fact, Amazon is actually losing money with the release of the new Kindle Fire so they can sell more ebooks on the back end. There is no reason to believe that this will not pay off for them — and you!
I don’t care who you are, everybody has a book in them. Traditional book publishing requires you to go through hoops to prove your point and change your content to satisfy some politically correct person in an office who knows nothing about your subject matter. Amazon publishing, on the other hand, allows you to write what you want in the style you want so you get your message across as intended.
The main key to successful publishing on Kindle is to research your subject properly. Most people think that they need to do something that has never been done before. But that’s the complete opposite of what you need. You need to produce books that people are already reading, just in your own voice. Think about it. If you like Italian cooking, do you only buy one Italian cookbook and call it quits? No, you buy every Italian cookbook that looks like it offers you some value. And that’s exactly what you want to do — provide value.
Another thing that people forget is to market their book. Yes, Amazon is one of the most trusted sites in the world, but that doesn’t mean that people will find your book on there. No. You must find ways to network your book. Are there forums related to the subject of your book? Then get on there and start answering people’s questions. When they ask how you know so much, you direct them to your book. Or better yet, just put the link to your book in your signature file!
And finally, don’t think that your book is where the revenue ends. You want to drive people into your sales funnel. Do you have a link to an offer that would get you a little affiliate cash? Do you have a blog, website, email list or Facebook page that you can use to engage your readers in further discussion on your subject matter? Even print books have links for their readers and so should you.
I think everybody should explore Amazon publishing as a way of making money online. Make sure to check it out and let me know what you think.
Cold Prospecting Techniques: How to Turn Cold Prospects into Warm Customers
One of the biggest challenges for business owners is keeping in touch with prospects. It is easy to spend lots of time, money and effort testing the waters with the different personalities and moods of prospective clients. Trying to get a “yes” out of someone can sometimes come across the wrong way and you end up being considered a pest or annoyance. But there is a way to get the outcome you seek without getting shut out.
My friend Donna Price has come up with a program to show regular offline business owners how to get inside your potential client’s head so that you’re seen as an ally instead of a nuisance. She thinks that well-informed entrepreneurs should know the following marketing tips to keeping in touch with their potential buyers:
Sending e-mails and e-newsletters ! Newsletters should contain some valuable information and tips that yours reader can utilize in their daily life. It should be something that they would motivate them to be successful. Since your company’s name is always within the link of the newsletter, they would be used to it. It would be easier for them to remember. Your prospects won’t need your service at this time. But when time comes that they are ready to purchase one, your company would be their top priority. When they buy your product, make a “thank- you” note. It is a simple expression that you appreciate their choice of going to your company.
Get your directory list and start making calls to your prospects. Create a list of seven contacts a day. Or you could do the ABC calling, by simply starting with first names in the directory list and call them one-by-one. Be courteous and use you soft voice in talking to them. If they would say NO, don’t give up! May be they are not interested that time when you talked to each other, but in time you would their affirmative nod. Don’t quit in following-up your prospects. There is a possibility that you will be your buyers after the fifth call, according to the latest survey. You just to have built a harmonious relationship to them, just in case they need you, you are just there!
Increase your networks of friends. Sometimes, dealing business with your old-time friends is better than a new one. Many of us have at least hundreds of friends. Try cultivating a warm relationship with them. Their referrals could boost your earnings.
Business development happens if you have a database of probable customers. An effective marketing could turn them into loyal customers and generate more sales.
Donna’s program, Bizology, shows you in depth how to schmooze your potential clients with many more techniques while driving sales to your offers to maximize profits. If your business is failing or in need of a facelift, then I strongly suggest you check out her Bizology membership site for more information.
